FREDERICK C. LITTLEJOHN, M.D.

My Philosophy

Good pain medicine requires a strong doctor-patient relationship. Patients need to trust that they will be listened to, and treated with compassion, honesty, and competency. Patients need to believe that their doctor understands their condition, and has clear goals in treatment. Patients need to experience excellence in procedural care.

I’ve been in practice for more than fifteen years now, and delivering on the promise of good pain medicine is what I do best. My patients should never feel as though I don’t understand why they’re in my office. They should never wonder whether or not I understand what’s wrong, or what my plan of care is. It should be absolutely clear what the goals are in care, so we can measure our progress. Good pain medicine is what patients deserve, and is the standard I hold myself to in providing care.
